Gabriel's Stuffed Stuff

November 28, 2018

Let’s be honest, TREP$ is not easy and coming up with a business is no easier, and each business has a story. So, here’s my story of Gabriel’s Stuffed Stuff.

Well I ordered a booklet filled with felt and thread that I used to make my cute food items about 5 months ago. My Noni showed me how to cut patterns out and sew the pieces together, so we made a cute carrot and a sweet little donut with smiley faces. Later when we were told we had to create a business, it just so happened that my carrot was sitting next to me while I was thinking of what to do, and so I thought what a great idea it would be to sell that cute stuff.

I made about 45 little food items from carrots to pineapples to pop-tarts, with a little help from my mom and Noni.  I sold everything and made a total of $134, by selling my items for only $3.00 and $2.00 each, which is crazy in my opinion.  I have one customer story I’d like to share.

Three girls came over to my table and they looked over everything I made, completely turning the display upside down! They left with pop-tarts and a pineapple but my stand was ruined which was funny in my opinion. I had to put my stand back together really quickly for my next customers. I found out later from my friends that these girls ruined their displays as well!

And so that’s my story on how TREP$ was the most fun I have had in an after school club EVER.
