My name is Keira and I am in 6th grade. My product was slime because I knew that a lot of kids at my school would be interested in slime.
The most challenging part about making the slime that I sold was being patient. In order for it to turn out good, you have to wait for it to sit. If you don’t, it can become a different texture. Each batch took 10-15 minutes.
My favorite part of TREP$ was handling the slime and showing it to shoppers at the TREP$ Marketplace. Also, I had the potential to make a huge profit. My supplies were $30, and I made 35 jars of slime. My selling price was set at $6. I ended up selling out!
The biggest lesson I learned about entrepreneurship was being patient when creating your product. My advice to other kids starting a business is to try your best to make your products look appealing so that it will attract people to your stand and make it more likely that they will buy your product.
