TREP$ was really fun and cool experience of business!
At first, my friend and I were going to sell a drawing, but after I went to a TREP$ Marketplace at another school, I realized that drawing won’t be a good idea. At that Marketplace I found some other cool ideas and even my aunt give me an idea!
One day my friend said to me that he wouldn’t be my partner at TREP$ because he has swimming tournament. I was sad after that day. Finally, my mom showed me an idea on youtube: “handmade sock Gnomes”.
My only struggle was sewing the fur beards to the gnomes. I had to sew the beard at the perfect spot. It was hard for me to sew the beards on because I never did it before and I didn’t know how to sew. That probably the only hard part. I made 20 sock gnomes. I was happy to had my products done.
At the Marketplace I was so exited to sell all my gnomes. I was a little bit nervous at the beginning, but after a while I got fun talking with the customers about my gnomes and how I made them. Some of the other kids creations were really cool and creative.
Most of the people at the marketplace said that my gnomes were cute. I sold all of them and I have 3 more orders!!!. I’m going to donate 1/2 of my money to WWF (World Wildlife Fund). WWF is the organization that lets you adopt animals. I already adopted a leopard shark last year, so this is going to be my second time saving an animal. See you next year TREP$!!!!! 🙂
