My name is Talon and my business’ name is Elite Wristbandz. I am a sports enthusiast, and motivation helps me achieve my goals. I chose to sell motivational wristbands to help uplift and motivate my customers.
The part of my business that I found most challenging was NUMBERS! I had to balance my expenses and net proceeds to determine my bottom-line profitability.
One of the most important skills I learned through TREP$ was how to buy at wholesale prices and resell at a higher price. The parts I most enjoyed about TREP$ were building a business, branding, and selling.
My net profit was $61. With part of my earnings, I purchased food and treats to donate to St. Hubert’s Dog Shelter.
As a result of my experience in TREP$, I have a lot of advice to give to other kids who are starting a business:
- Follow your dreams and come up with a thorough plan.
- Always ask questions and learn as much as you can from successful people.
- Advertising is important to successful business growth.
- Nothing is impossible with the right mindset and determination!
